‘Poisonous Chandrababu Playing Political Games by Obstructing TTD Activities’

Hyderabad: Former MLA from AP Gadikota Srikanth Reddy on Monday said CM Chandrababu's words at the chief minister's level had hurt them. He criticised Chandrababu for using god for politics. He also criticised Naidu for terrorising the people. He said the TTD ghee would be procured through tenders every six months and added that the ghee received in the tankers would be used after verification.

Speaking to media persons, he alleged that Chandrababu was spreading poison just for the sake of politics. “Naidu is playing political games by obstructing TTD activities. The report, which came out in July, was made public in September and it should be known that false propaganda on Tirumala laddu is not good,” he said.

He said the Ghee tankers would be tested in three phases and added that the laddu sent to make even after the test? “To make one kg of ghee, 40 litres of milk is required. Every day 30 litres of such ghee is anointed. 50 tonnes of ghee cannot be made by this method. Sacred ghee is used to make the naivedyam. Sacred ghee is used for abhishekam, naivedyam and lamps. “Chandrababu has made a mistake. For how many days will the dramas continue? Conspiracies are being hatched to create sentiment and pollute Tirumala. Chandrababu is trying to put the blame on his opponents,” he alleged. Reddy asked as to how much fund had been allocated for temples from 2014-2019 and how much had been sanctioned from 2019-2024? He said an inquiry should be conducted in such a way that the facts are made known to the public without distorting the facts. “Don't look at it from a political point of view. The puja process in Tirumala is being done through jiyars,” added Srikanth Reddy.
